I dreamt about an alien invasion where my city was leveled by alien laser fire. I, and some friends, escaped to the suburbs where the aliens were ruling. I was worried what to take as I fled and I remember taking porridge, 7 pairs of underpants, and a Mexican rug. Later, I defended someone in a grocery store and shot an alien in the head. His head made a high-pitched whine before it exploded and I made a quick getaway by vaulting over a chickenwire fence out back. It was epic.
