The Wailing Heart Red as the rose that blooms in the heart, The Wailing Heart is grieving and coming to terms with grief. It wanders the world, dragging its heart behind and wailing into a modified megaphone that converts its haunting sounds of grief into jarring mechanical heartbeats. Best out of doors; or sans megaphone, silent as an unsettling presence without any name at all. The Wailing Heart is otherworldly, but very much a part of each of us at one time or another. |
